In a broadcasting first for the team, the St. Louis Cardinals will have Wednesday’s game, April 11th, against Milwaukee shown on Facebook instead of television or other streaming platform.

The game is being exclusively televised on Facebook, so for those fans who do not have a Facebook account they will have to either listen to the radio broadcast, follow along with the pitch-by-pitch tracking on MLB.com and their At Bat app.
The broadcast is part of a new agreement between MLB and Facebook to exclusively distribute one weekday afternoon game per week this season. The deal was unanimously approved by a vote from all 30 MLB clubs.
The Cardinals, who have no control over which games MLB will select for each broadcast, will be part of the process again when they play in Milwaukee on May 30th.

First pitch is set for 12:15pm with Adam Wainwright set to take the mound for St. Louis.
